I have probably averaged 3-5 hours of sleep per night since the 1980s. And I get tired during the day. But I walk a lot and that picks me up.
I worked under a lot of stress: managing computer development teams of from 6 to 50+. I also commuted 150+ miles round trip, 5 to 7 days.
I should therefore be an emotional andor physical wreck. And yet I am in excellent health; off most of my meds; and look and feel in my 50s even though Iām 77.

Obviously the 7-9 hour rule has passed me by.

Wow well done for staying healthy and feeling good for all of that! I personally can’t operate well without enough good sleep.
